It always seems strange to me that whenever I travel to far flung foreign lands that I have to travel from my relatively provincial everyday life in Norwich to exotic remote places across one of the busiest, most populated places in Europe – the metropolis of London. The distant people, the mass advertising, noise, disconnectedness, non-humanness.
The result – no starker contrast possible.
